Sunday Morning Extras.

This is great way to engage with the adult community at Hope. We offer small group activities on the same schedule as Sunday morning Worship. Interesting classes on relevant biblical topics, and seasons of prayer that draw us closer to each other as we draw close to God. Opportunities change every 12 weeks but you are welcome to jump in anywhere along the way.

Current Session

9:00 am New Building Classroom. “Lessons from the Upper Room”, a new DVD study on the final teaching of Jesus with the disciples before the cross. This 12-week study will focus on John chapters 13-17 and shed light on many familiar events from washing the disciple’s feet to Jesus praying for the Church. Expect thoughtfully presented lectures followed by lively, open discussion and questions. Study guides available in class. This Study runs from April 23rd to July 16th.

10:45 image10:45 am New Building Classroom. “Last Words from the First Pastor” is a Bible book study through 2 Peter led by Pastor Steve. This final encouragement to the Early Church is highly relevant to us even today. Peter's second letter makes a strong defense of the gospel and takes a equally strong stand against false teaching. This class will also introduce you to the many Bible Study tools and techniques to improve and enrich you time in all of God's Word. This Study runs from April 23rd to July 16th.

Coming up...

A Season to Pray Together. This new prayer group meets at both 9:00 am and 10:45 am in the New Building Classroom. We spend time getting to know each other praying for each other, the needs of others, for the Worship Service, and for the Church in all the world. Each Sunday meeting will include Scripture, a theme for prayer, and time to share. The Season to Pray Together is from July 23rd to October 8th.
