What should I expect on a Sunday?
Thanks for stopping by. We’re glad you’re here and hope to see you at one of our Sunday worship services. Our services aren’t just something we attend or do. We aren’t just a building or an event. We are a people, the body of Christ, sinners saved by grace. That’s right. Our church is full of imperfect people, and that should make you feel all the more welcome. We all fall short of God’s glory and need a Savior—Jesus Christ.
During our 10:45 am service we offer nursery and children's church for ages 0-4th grade.
What should I wear?
You’re invited to come as you are, whether it’s a suit or shorts you feel most comfortable wearing. Our members and attendees tend to dress pretty casual.
What about music?
Church is not a concert, and you’re not here to watch the show! We love the rich tradition that the Christian church has enjoyed of singing together, whenever they gather, in different communities, countries, and languages across the globe. Our main goal is to lead in such a way that the people of Hope are excited to sing out great truths about God and his grace in our lives as we offer him our hearts and our praise.
We love the deep theology of the hymns of the church, as well as the great work that worship leaders are putting into writing powerful songs that speak to our world today. Our services are often a mix of classic hymns – sometimes with a new twist – and more modern tunes, all of it celebrating Jesus Christ. You can expect us to sing more about God than we sing about ourselves, and you will find the lyrics heavily influenced by the Bible.
What do we believe?
It is our desire to create disciple making communities. We do this through reaching people, teaching them to love and serve Jesus, and sending them to reach, teach, and send others.
Sunday Morning Extras.
This is another way to engage with the community at Hope. We offer interesting classes on relevant biblical topics. Also, seasons of prayer that draw us closer to each other as we draw close to God. Find out what's on and what is coming up in Sunday Morning Extras.
