Are you interested in learning a new language and culture? At Hope Community Church, you will be introduced to the fundamental elements of American Sign Language and Deaf culture. You will learn signs to engage Deaf people in some everyday topics of communication in a fun and engaging manner.
 
This event is open to all ages 10(+). Children between the ages of 10 and 13 should attend with an adult. 

Instructor Bio: Gloria Eoute grew up in a Deaf home and learned American Sign Language (ASL) from her parents. She has taught community ASL classes for over 30 years and college ASL classes for the past 14 years. Gloria is a nationally certified interpreter and has interpreted in church ministries, college classes, and medical settings. She desires to help people develop an appreciation of this beautiful language and learn to love Deaf people and their culture.
