Home Groups are designed to strengthen our relationship with God, with each other, and with God’s Word. We believe relationships with other believers are the best place for discipleship to occur. We have found that a Word-centered and relationally warm environment creates a helpful and edifying place for people to journey towards a new, deeper, and life-shaping relationship with Jesus Christ and one another.
As important as these groups are, we believe that full participation in the Church means participating primarily in our Sunday gatherings. Sundays are the time when we celebrate in worshiping our risen Lord Jesus together through singing, the preaching of God’s Word, and partaking in communion. Smaller groups can be helpful for building up the body in our relationships and life together, but cannot substitute for our involvement with the whole Church body on Sundays.
