In Acts 2:42, we read that the early church devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer. With all that goes into being a church community, we rightly affirm that we cannot succeed without being a praying church. We ask all of our members to pray daily for their church and that Christ would build his church. We are confident that Jesus will build his church, but he does so through the faithful work, service, and prayers of his people. As citizens in Jesus’ kingdom, we do not build the kingdom merely through hard work or human effort but through simple dependence on God working through the Spirit. As the Psalmist declares, “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain” (Ps. 127:1). Please join us in prayer to our God who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask, think, or imagine (Eph. 3:20).
We regularly gather together for an evening of prayer and worship. Our Prayer and Praise Service is an opportunity for our church body to go before our Father and ask Him to do what only He can do. For all our strategizing and preparation, we cannot succeed without the Spirit of God building his church. During this service, we devote time to corporate prayer, singing, and a brief message.

Our Men’s and Women’s Prayer Groups are weekly opportunities to gather before the Lord and devote ourselves to one another in prayer. The Men’s Prayer Group meets Thursdays at 6:00 am, and the Women’s Prayer Group meets Wednesdays at 6:00 am. These gatherings are a simple but meaningful way to bear one another’s burdens, seek the Lord together, and ask Him to strengthen and build His church. As James reminds us, “The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working” (James 5:16), and Paul calls us to be “praying at all times in the Spirit” (Ephesians 6:18).
